A PERSONAL MESSAGE FOR PRODUCERS FROM CEO MICHAEL D. SELLERS
If you’re a producer checking out our site, there are a few points I’d like to make to you. First of all, in a business where companies come and go, Quantum has been around since 1996. I started the company precisely because, as a producer who at that time had produced 5 films and been dissatisfied with the distribution outcome, I felt that this was an area where I would like to gain greater control. Since that time I’ve continued my work as a film-maker, ultimately producing 18 films and directing 4, and Quantum has continued to provide a credible, viable outlet for my products and those of other like-minded producers.

But as we entered 2009 something changed. I have decided to take a break from film-making and concentrate all my efforts on taking Quantum Releasing to the next level at a time when the industry is going through major transitions on many fronts. Whereas I previously woke up in the morning thinking about the scripts I was writing, or the next project to go into production — now I am fully focused on providing a quality home for film-makers who are experiencing the same frustrations that I did back in 1996.

Our new website is a direct result of my efforts to create a better way to showcase our films. We’ve upgraded the trailers to include HD; and we’ve adopted a simplified backend that allows me, or you, the film-maker, to directly access your film’s page and add new information, photos, or other information that you think buyers should have available to them. It’s as simple as posting to your Facebook page.
