Children-Of-The-Living-Dead
Logline: A young man Matthew, seeking independence from his father, decides to move to a small town and open a car dealership. The small town’s peace is broken when the construction crew building Michael’s dream unleashes the one thing the townsfolk fear most – the wrath of the Children of the Living Dead.

Synopsis: When Matthew Michael (Damien Luvara) arrives in a small Pennsylvania town near Pittsburgh, his only thought is to try and turn an old farm property near the interstate into a profitable car dealership , and in so doing gain a measure of independence from his domineering father. Soon after he arrives, however, Matthew begins to discover that beneath the surface, the gentle Pennsylvania town is aything but calm and peaceful.

First, he learns that his property contains a graveyard which all of the townspeople regard as “a bad, bad place” where he should never go alone. He brushes this aside, butthen a pretty local girl Laurie (Jamie McCoy) tells him mor – how years earlier the town had suffered an infestation of the Living Dead – Zombies who prey on human flesh. One of theese, the infamous Abbot Hayes, escaped due to the failure of the cowardly Sheriff (Martin Schiff) to finish him off – this in spite of the heroic efforts of master zombie killer (Tom Savini). The townsfolk believe he still may be in the are. Some say they can even see hm at night on the property.

As construction of the auto dealership gets underway, Matthew’s crew begins to remove coffins from plots on the cemetery, but he learns too late that his father and construction supervisor conspired to save money by burying them in a mass grave.

As the construction begins digging up the ground, they also unleash the one thing the townsfolk fear most – the wrath of Abbot Hayes and the Children of the Living Dead. TRT: 90min Horror (2001)
